The Turntable Isolation Platform 7 are manufactured from Custom Design’s world renowned Intra Specific Isolation Technology creates a constrained layer dampening system to provide the perfect, discrete, high mass hifi isolation platform including the exclusive Custom Design Hifi Isolation feet for ease of leveling and positioning your equipment.
The Turntable Isolation Platform 7 are designed with an initial high mass value, to dampen resonance energy vibration. The Turntable Isolation Platform 7 isolate hifi equipment from the supporting system/furniture with a unique Intra Specific Isolation principle with a viscoelastic patent polymer converting unwanted resonance energy to negiliable heat through friction. Energy can be neither created or destroyed, only changed. The resonance energy that could be generated by the supporting system or the hifi equipment itself. This is achieved through a viscoelastic patented polymer system which is pressed between 2 sheets of CR4 mild steel, a 1mm and 6mm format, with a high initial mass for best results, creating a perfect constrained layer dampening platform with a high weight loading capability.
The Turntable Isolation Platform 7 are only available in one size as standard 450mm x 320mm (custom sizes available on request) and offer a magnitude in clarity and separation compared to the standard iRAPs. Resulting in an inky blackness and depth to the bass frequency, with a significant improvement in the dynamic range with precision timing and detail.
Custom Design sources all cardboard packaging from only PEFC or FSC certified companies. 76% of the cardboard packaging has been manufactured from recycled material which can be 100% recycled.
Turntable Isolation Platform 7 are Supplied with 4 Custom Design Exclusive Hifi isolation mounting feet. Turntable Isolation Platform 7 dimensions 450mm wide x 320mm depth x requiring 35mm in height.

"Just wanted to let you know that the custom iRAP XL was received in good order. Spend some time adjusting my cabinet to give it a proper place to rest from its journey.
But what a beast! Not only because of the 10 kilogram of solid (but acoustic) steel, but also the rock foundation it provides to the sound. Never heard it so natural and lively in my listening room.
