The Turntable isolation Platform 17 have been introduced by Custom Design as a result of our customers requests. Customers perceptions of Hi-Fi furniture have changed, design is important, contemporary more than accessory. That is why we listen to our customers comments and with some subtle design alterations and the materials thickness the Turntable isolation Platform 17 is a direct result. Isolation platforms have been introduced as a piece of furniture, then with the 38 years of experience and knowledge the details added to enhance and provide our customers with a discrete, definitive isolation platform manufactured to for acoustic highest standards we have ever achieved and without compromise.
The Turntable isolation Platform 17 are manufactured with Custom Design’s world renowned, unique and exclusive Intra Specific Isolation technology. Designed to convert, absorb and dampen unwanted resonance energy vibration, to provide the most discrete, unlimited weight bearing capability Turntable Isolation Platform. The Intra Specific isolation Technology isolates hifi equipment totally from the supporting system, whether furniture, a glass shelf, a wooden shelf or even the floor by converting the resonance energy that can be generated by your surroundings and other products. It does this through a patented polymer system, which is pressed between 2 sheets of steel and 2 sheets of aluminum with varying thickness allowing the patent polymer technology to work most efficiently and convert the unwanted resonance to negligible heat. The resulting improvements are significant and with the versatility of the Turntable isolation Platform 17 means it can be adapted to any piece of furniture or hifi support, only requiring 45mm of height.
Only available in one size at the moment 450mm wide X 320mm Depth with 2 Intra Specific Isolating platforms, the lower steel plinth is 7mm thickness and the upper aluminium plinth is 11mm thickness. By using the combination of the 7mm steel and the 11mm aluminium with the patented resonance absorbing technology polymer and the Custom Design 28/20 Hifi Isolation Feet, the direct result is a range of frequencies are eliminated from possibly effecting your Hifi equipment, which allows you to hear the sound performance the designer intended for you. As much as other manufacturers state their MDF and wooden shelves absorb energy is simply not true, all that can be achieved is the potential to stop the resonance energy from effecting other parts of your system, the energy still remains. The full benefit can be heard instantly when the full combination of the Intra Specific Isolation Technology is used. The precision and timing to the bass frequency is remarkable, with an inky blackness and depth to the bass. Separation and imaging is apparent with particular attention to the detail. Custom Design sources all cardboard packaging from only PEFC or FSC certified companies. 76% of the cardboard packaging has been manufactured from recycled material which can be 100% recycled.
