These stands are beautifully made. Fit and finish is flawless and they feel very solid and stable. I love the fact that footprint of the top plate is the exact same as the speaker. . They look classy and contemporary. My 3/1s were sat on a sideboard at the wrong height and too close together so I would have been disappointed if moving them onto these stands hadn't made a difference. Even so I was very happy with how much of an improvement there was, particularly to the sound stage and bass control. All in all, I'm delighted with my purchase. Following the advice on the website I have spent time listening to them without adding any filler and everything sounds so good I don't think they need any. I bought them through Hi-Fi Furniture and the service and delivery time was excellent.

Right from the get-go the OM44's opened up the midrange providing improved clarity and imaging. I've only recently acquired the Harbeth SL5 XD's I'm using the OM44's with and the improvements are so obvious, my wife will think I've upgraded my equipment again. We'll come to think of it, that's exactly what I have done.
