Hello Paul, I've put all the speaker stands together and filled them with the inert filler, I was concerned about getting it in but it I just poured straight out of the bag. The stands look really good and are nice and heavy making them stable even on the carpet. There’s no doubt that selecting the most appropriate support makes a world of difference to how a loudspeaker will perform. Most improve significantly by the on-axis point being brought to ear level; more noticeable for designs with poorer off-axis responses.
